Features

Slow Floating, Shallow-Runner

It captivates with a tight roll action just below the water surface, mimicking baitfish in the feeding zone. Its swimming posture, which closely mimics that of suspended bait, and its buoyancy that closely resembles drifting sardines (Japanese anchovy), effectively replicate the natural bait.

It features a tight, pure rolling action designed to resemble drifting baitfish, minimizing action breakage when creating a wake.

With a weight distribution close to suspending, it blends easily into turbulent water (sarashi) while maintaining a nearly horizontal swimming posture to entice strikes.

The sideways darting action caused by short jerks triggers strikes even in calm, windless conditions.

Slow floating

In saltwater, it takes about 5 to 10 seconds to rise 50 cm, making it an ultra-dead-slow floating.
To allow the lure to sway gently in turbulent waters (sarashi), you can not only trace it with a slow retrieve, but also stop the retrieve and let it drift with the wind and waves.
The lure is designed to minimize floating or sinking, allowing it to maintain its depth just below the surface,  even in sarashi conditions.
In brackish water (estuaries) or freshwater,  the specific gravity changes,  so it may shift from slow floating to slow sinking,  requiring careful attention.

Hook adjustment

By changing the stock hook to a thinner one, the lure becomes lighter,  allowing you to adjust it from SF (slow floating) to F (floating).

Adjusting the diving range to make it shallower is useful in shallow fishing areas (such as surf or tidal flats) and for wading in the water.
This adjustment makes the lure easier to use while keeping the action quality mostly unchanged.
When reducing the hook size,  be cautious as it can significantly worsen the hooking up performance (due to the hook being too small in relation to the body size).

By increasing the stock hook size by one step, the overall weight becomes heavier,  causing the lure to shift from SF (slow floating) to SS (slow sinking).
Since the quality of the action remains largely unchanged,  it can still be used effectively for targeting larger fish (lunkers).
