What is TAGURIG?
Squid fishing rigs are typically long to allow for covering a wide depth range simultaneously, and retrieving them requires the action of “taguru” (hand-lining).
Since the rig uses lures (ika-zuno), it can be considered a type of “rig,” thus the name TAGURIG was born.
