YAMASHITA is one of the leading fishing tackle manufacture that operates a factory in Yokosuka.
In addition to the business division, YAMASHITA maintains the research division for the development of new fishing tackle and fishing method, and also all YAMASHITA's members make new products by their own experienced idea. Particularly, YAMASHITA's first biggest brand "GOLDEN BAIT" is of original design after years of research by the founder Kusutaro Yamashita. Its another brand "Maria" is for Plastic Minnows-Wobblers and Metal Jigs made in its own factory in Japan with its original idea and also with many opinions from its contacted field-testers. Many of its products under "YAMASHITA" brand are made on demand from many customers and fishermen.
YAMASHITA sells and exports various items developed by themselves to fishing and related industries and to many foreign manufacturing companies. In its business activities in the export division, the company is advancing in the field of sports fishing all over the world.
On the other hand, of course YAMASHITA is supplying various kinds of demand all over Japan from Kyushu in the south to Hokkaido in the north.
